Joakim was born in sweden’s capital Stockholm in the spring of 1984. Already at an early age he developed a interest for music. In his teenage years his parents desperately tried to get him interested in various sports, but nothing seemed to fit his needs. The only thing that caught Joakim´s attention was music.

Summer of 1998, back in the days when classic tracks from Atb and Alice Deejay where spinning at every commercial radio station, he got his hands of a little neat piece of software called “Fast Tracker 2″. This was by far, the coolest thing in the world at the time.

a number of tracks and years later he got in touch with the new innovative piece of music software from the Swedish company Propellerheads called Reason, this was love at first sight. This was sometime in the year 2000. Later on he got in touch with the dutch producer Mark Versluis and formed the epic-trance-duo “Versluis & Sande”.

Together they produced the tracks, “Basic Movement” and “Thessa”, and then collaborated with the German producer MoonForce aka Jan-Erik Mai and produced the massive trancers “Devined” and “Epic Rocks” with some huge response from various big names in the Dj scene and from the mighty compilations “Trancemaster” and “Dream Dance”.

In 2007 Joakim got his first solo tracks signed with the label Eden Music. One of the tracks “Like Dust In The Wind” already been featured in the popular radio show Trance Nation.
2009 was also a good year for Joakim. He teamed up with the talented vocalist Johanna Norström and as a result of that they managed to get their first single “Want You Around” signed with the England based label Grooveland Records. The track got some really good response from various DJ´s around the world. The track peaked NO2 on junodownload´s house chart and got featured at trackitdown´s music store.
